Let dough sit for 5 minutes
Roll out on a lightly floured surface (1/4 in thick) And cut using cookie cutters, if available.
Place on parchment lined pan and bake in preheated oven for 8-10 min til bottoms are lightly browned
To prepare icing:
Mix all ingredients together til incorporated with no lumps
Dip cookies in icing and scrape off excess
Other options: Use a brush and paint on icing
